Varzaneh desert is a small desert town, located not too far away from the spectacular city of Esfahan. Approximately a hundred kilometers away from Esfahan and two hundred from Yazd, Varzaneh is known for its wonderful sand dunes. A perfect destination for travelers who are seeking the peace of a night spent in a desert and the warmth of an evening around a camp fire sitting with Iranians on a Persian carpet under the stars.

What to Expect

Our experienced local guide will take you to splendid views of Gavkhouni, the black volcanic mountain, the majestic salt lake and a magnificent desert stretching eternally into the sunset.

We pick you up from your hotel or guest-house around 12 PM in Esfahan.
